Não gosto de "resenhar" coletâneas, e não pretendo fazer isso aqui, mas preciso externar minha atual paixão pelo Best of do Chris Isaak. Não consigo ouvir outra coisa. Esse homem é tudo de bom!!!!

Suponho que Chris Isaak seja rotulado como "adult contemporary" - uma coisa assim, ahn, para tocar na Antena 1 Light FM. Mas eu adoro, e acho que o moço está longe de ser só isso - pra mim ele faz um rock delicioso, com guitarras lindas, conseguindo ser sexy e melancólico ao mesmo tempo. Sua voz é diferente, é uma coisa Roy Orbison: não dá pra descrever em poucas linhas.

Sempre achei que Chris Isaak era a dor de cotovelo em pessoa. Com aquele topete e o bico à la Elvis, como resistir??? Só de ouvir as canções, sem conhecer as letras, já dá pra sentir o quanto o moço sofre. Fiquei ainda mais impressionada lendo o encarte do CD, com algumas explicações teeeensas para as músicas (especialmente a de "Wicked Game" - *ui*)!

Então resolvi prestar atenção às letras - ahh, pra quê?? É de cortar o coração!!! Tem letra pra tudo quanto é tipo de dor-de-amor:
